jkitz: So my mom just called this weekend and said, “Hey I have an extra ticket to a Dave Matthews concert, wanna go with me and your aunt and uncle?” YES. I don’t know why I’m so excited because I know none of his new songs, and haven’t really thought about them since I went to their concert in 2002.  But a free outdoor concert with my mom, aunt, and uncle who LOVE concerts and can really pull off the over 40 dance (bent knees-stationary feet-hand clap, we all know it) will be so much fun.  I’ll have to dig up my tie die and birks, DMB here I come! For the longest time, I thought Dave Matthew was John Popper.  Then one day in college, I was working stage crew at a Dave Matthews Band show, and he walks by heading down to his prep room, and I was so confused.  I turned to the person next to me who was pulling wire and said “That’s so weird - he’s not fat at all!”  Everybody gave me a strange look.
